ColorOS 13 has been announced and it is based on Android 13: Highlights and features

This Thursday, Google launched the stable version of Android 13, which has been available for developers since last month. As expected, OPPO has introduced ColorOS 13, an operating system for its devices that will be based on Android 13. OPPO has released the release schedule for ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13, and highlighted new features that will be included in the operating system. Early adopters of the Find X5 series may now download the beta version of ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13. 

If you recognize the situation, you are not alone. Earlier this month, OnePlus announced OxygenOS 13 with the same name. ColorOS 13 also uses this as its new language for designing apps. The Aquamorphic style provides calming aesthetics and makes the animations seem more realistic and alive. This new addition has a shadow-reflective clock, which casts shadows in the direction of the sun and moon. A new globe clock widget is included in the update to display the current time in a variety of different time zones directly from the home screen.

Performance

ColorOS 13, based on Android 13, now has huge folders on the main menu. You can swipe between the folder's pages to navigate to different apps and touch the folder's data without opening it. More tagging options for screenshots have been included in the update as well. This update also improves OPPO's multi-screen connectivity. With a linked PC, you may use many mobile applications at once.

With ColorOS 13, OPPO is increasing its customization choices with the following features:

For security reasons, the system will routinely erase clipboard content. All data are encrypted using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to keep sensitive information safe. In Kid Space, your browser will immediately transform into a kid-friendly mode.
