London-based tech startup Nothing is all set to launch its next smartphone under the CMF by Nothing sub-brand – the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Known for its unique and bold approach to smartphone design, Nothing has managed to carve out a space for itself in a highly competitive market. The CMF lineup, which focuses on affordability without compromising on style and core features, has received a lot of attention since the launch of the first CMF Phone.
Now, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is generating buzz. While the company has kept most of the details under wraps, several leaks have revealed what users might expect from the upcoming device.
CMF Phone 2 Pro launch date in India
Nothing has confirmed that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will launch in India on April 28 at 6:30 PM IST. Along with this smartphone, the brand will also unveil new audio products – the CMF Buds 2, CMF Buds 2a, and CMF Buds 2 Plus.
CMF Phone 2 Pro specifications and features (Expected)
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is expected to sport a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, this phone will likely be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Other possible features include an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and an Essential Key support. Furthermore, powering the device could be a 5,000mAh battery, along with support for 50W fast charging.
As for the design, one of the official teasers shows a triple-circle camera module, hinting at a triple-lens system on the back. Leaks suggest a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom. On the front, there could be a 32MP selfie shooter.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is expected to be priced under Rs 22,000 in India, which places it in the mid-range category. For reference, the CMF Phone 1 launched at Rs 14,999.
