CMF has launched its first smartphone, the CMF Phone 1 at a starting price of ₹15,999. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G was launched in India starting at ₹19,999.
Although both phones are made of plastic, the CMF Phone 1 offers numerous personalisation options rarely seen in its price range. Nothing takes the concept of removable back panels to a new level with its optional accessories. This allows users to enjoy the feeling of having a new phone without actually buying one, which is a brilliant idea.

The CMF Phone 1 comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution and 2000 nits of peak brightness.
On the other hand, the Nord CE 4 Lite features a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 2100 nits of peak brightness and FHD+ resolution.
For photography, the CMF Phone 1 houses a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has a 16MP camera on the front.
The Nord CE4 Lite 5G also features a dual-rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has a 16MP sensor.
The CMF Phone 1 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. A 5000mAh battery powers the Phone 1 and it supports 33-watt fast charging. It runs on the latest Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G processor. It runs on OxygenOS 14, based on Android 14. The Nord CE 4 Lite has a 5500mAh battery with 80-watt fast charging.
Both the CMF Phone 1 and the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite offer strong features at their respective price points, making the decision largely dependent on individual preferences and priorities. The CMF Phone 1 stands out with its innovative personalisation options, providing a fresh and customizable experience. On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite offers a slightly larger battery and significantly faster charging capabilities, making it a strong contender for those prioritising battery life and quick recharge times.
