CES 2015: HTC Desire 826 with 64-bit SoC, Ultrapixel front camera unveiled
After unveiling the entry level Desire 320 smartphone, HTC has followed up with a premium Desire phone – Desire 826 featuring Android 5.0 Lollipop, 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor along with 2GB of RAM
At the CES 2015, HTC focussed on its Desire series of smartphones. While HTC has already announced the budget Desire 320, it also unveiled another smartphone – Desire 826 – touted as the first HTC phone to run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
The HTC Desire 826 has a 5.5-inch full HD display. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor along with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone features 13-megapixel rear and an UltraPixel front camera for better seflies. The Desire 826 also features BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio . The smartphone is powered by a 2600 mAh battery.
The HTC Desire 826 will be available in four colour options and released in Asian markets later this month.
Earlier, HTC unveiled a budget Desire 320 smartphone. The Desire 320 has a he Desire 320 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with HTC Sense UI on top. The smartphone will also feature HTC Blinkfeed for combining content from news and social media sites to the smartphones home screen.
