BlackBerry Z10 retail pics surface ahead of official announcement
With only few weeks remaining for the official unveiling of BB10 OS, a set of promotional pictures of the BlackBerry Z10 has emerged on the web, showing glimpses of goodies the new OS is set to bring with itself.
Research in Motion (RIM) is set to unveil its latest BlackBerry 10 operating system later this month. A lot of details with regards to the new OS and BB devices have already surfaced on the Internet. The latest is a set of promotional pics of BB10, showcasing various features offered by the platform.
The leaked pics, also considered to be the official retail ads, show the BlackBerry Z10 full-touch smartphone with black and white colours. One of the pics shows the device with a red holster.
Among the new features is the BBM service with video chat and screen sharing capabilities, a new Balance feature that allows users to organise the apps and contents on their BB10 smartphone into groups, and an improved BlackBerry keypad. Check out the new BB Z10 images below:
The last round of leaks for the BlackBerry Z10 had revealed the device has 4.3-inch screen and redesigned AppWorld that is reminiscent of Google's Play store whereas the innards of the phone included a microSD card slot, HDMI port and peculiarly positioned SIM card slot.
RIM will be showcasing the BB10 at an event on January 30. Rumours have it the company will be showing quite a few BB10 devices including an N-series. According to BGR, RIM will be launching the device in the U.S. market by February 2013.
According to CrackBerry, online retailers Best Buy and Future Shop are now accepting pre-orders for the new BlackBerry 10 smartphones. RIM has however refrained from letting out details about the handsets that are up for pre-orders or any speculation regarding the new devices.
