The BlackBerry OS 6.0 has been unveiled at WES 2010, revealing some great features, some of which were covered in our previous article on the OS leak. To reiterate briefly, these are: a new system-wide multi-touch interface, an enhanced homescreen, a new music player, pinch to zoom browsing, and the WebKit browser. This last fact being confirmed will give BlackBerry users much pleasure, as the popular browser is well-acclaimed, easy to use and stable, and also used by Android-based phones and the iPhone.
Other news from WES 2010 includes the fact that BlackBerry application marketplace, App World, will come pre-installed with the new OS, and feature both credit card and carrier billing. Check out a sneak peek video of the BlackBerry OS 6.0 in action, below:
