BlackBerry Classic launched in India at Rs. 31,990

BlackBerry's latest smartphone BlackBerry Classic featuring physical keyboard has been officially launched in India. Though based on the design language of Bold 9000, the Classic offers better specifications than its predecessors.

BlackBerry has officially launched its Classic smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 31,990, the Classic smartphone will be available via Snapdeal and BlackBerry stores starting January 15. First 1,000 customers to purchase BlackBerry Classic stand to benefit from an exclusive offer on Snapdeal.com. The offer entitles existing users of BB Bold smartphones to buyback offer up to Rs. 4,500 and also receive benefits from yatra.com of up to Rs. 10,000.

BlackBerry had recently announced the Classic smartphone featuring full QWERTY keyboard, physical navigation keys and design language of the BlackBerry Bold 9900.  The smartphone runs the latest BlackBerry OS v10.3.1 and is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with 2GB of RAM.

The BlackBerry Classic comes with a 3.5-inch touch display, 294 dpi HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It features an 8MP rear facing camera and 2MP front facing camera. It has 16GB of device storage (expandable by up to another 128GB via Micro SD card).

Other important features of the Classic include BlackBerry Blend, digital assistant BlackBerry Assistant, dual app storefronts – BlackBerry World and Amazon Appstore, and BlackBerry Hub.
