After launching the DTEK50 a few months ago, BlackBerry may soon launch a new phone called DTEK60. CrackBerry spotted a page on the BlackBerry website (which has since been taken down) that revealed some specifications of the upcoming device. If the specifications are true, then the DTEK60 seems like a very powerful smartphone.
The phone is tipped to feature a 5.5-inch QHD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM. The device may also offer 32GB of storage and a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. Other features include 21MP and 8MP cameras, fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port.
These line up with the rumoured specifications of the ‘Argon’ device that BlackBerry was tipped to be working on. The company was also reportedly working on two other devices called ‘Neon’ and ‘Mercury’. The Neon was revealed to be the DTEK50, while the Mercury is yet to be unveiled. Rumours also suggest that the Mercury smartphone may have a physical QWERTY keyboard.
