Twitter leaker @evleaks is giving viewers a parting gift and it is the best image of the Moto X+1 that we have seen so far. Evan Blass, or @evleaks, had recently announced his retirement from reporting phone scoops but seems to have had one last leak in his bag.
Yesterday we reported that Motorola is likely to launch nine devices in the next four months. The Moto X+1 is the update to the Moto X, which sports the company’s X8 system. The device is expected to be launched in events that Motorola is hosting on September 5 in both New Delhi and Chicago.
The new image shows the wooden back design of the Moto X+1, similar to the current Moto X smartphone. The rumoured specifications of the device include a Snapdragon 800 SoC along with 2 GB of RAM, 5.2 inch display and the Android 4.4.4 OS. The leaked image does show minimal changes to the design by Motorola, except that the company’s logo on the back is more well defined.
None of this has been confirmed though and Motorola is keeping things in the dark till September 5.
