Asus has launched the ZenFone 3S Man in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 14,999 and features a metal body and a 5.2-inch 720p display. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor with 3GB of RAM. However, the highlight of the device is the 5000mAh battery, which the company says and offer up to 38 days of 4G standby time. At the back of the device is a 13MP PixelMaster camera support for Phase Detection autofocus. At the front is an 8MP camera with an 85 degree wide angle lens. The phone sports a fingerprint sensor and will come with ZenUI 3.0, which is based on Android Nougat v7.0.
The Asus ZenFone 3S Max will go up against similarly priced big battery smartphones like the Lenovo P2. The P2 is priced at Rs. 16,999 and offers a slightly larger 5100mAh battery and a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display. Another big battery phone is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, which offers a smaller 4100mAh battery. However, it’s top end variant priced at Rs. 11,999.
