Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom, the successor to company's Zenfone Zoom is finally going on sale in the United States. The smartphone first showcased at CES in January was initially delayed because Asus wanted to improve the specs of the device. However, the handset has been listed for pre-order on B&H's website for $329 without any change in hardware. Back in January, the company had announced the device will retail for 3,699 Yuan (approx, $536). The listing doesn't reveal when the pre-order will end and when the actual shipping starts
Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom is the latest camera smartphone from the Taiwanese manufacturer. The handset features a dual 12MP rear camera setup, similar to the one found on iPhone 7 Plus. It comprises of a standard 12MP wide-angle lens with f/1.7 aperture and another 12MP telephoto lens with a fixed optical zoom of 2.3x. The original Zenfone Zoom offered 3x optical zoom. Asus claims the camera also offers faster autofocus time of 0.03 seconds along with OIS and EIS. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. The smartphone also houses a 5000mAh battery, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
