The listing revealed the Asus ROG 8 Ultimate running on an octa-core processor.

Asus is a known name when it comes to gaming. The brand has launched some of the best-performing gaming devices in the market to date. One of those devices is the Asus ROG Phone lineup. It launched the ROG Phone 7 series in April, which included the ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Next in the lineup would be most likely the ROG Phone 8 series, which is speculated to debut with three models this time; the ROG Phone 8, ROG Phone 8 Pro, and ROG Phone 8 Ultimate. However, the brand seems to be working on the Asus ROG 8 Ultimate. How do we know that? Let me tell you.

The high-end model, ROG Phone 8 Ultimate, has been spotted on the Geekbench listing with the model number ASUS_AI2401_A, according to 91mobiles. A few days back, the smartphone also appeared on the IMEI database. This hints at an imminent launch and also confirms that the brand is working on the new Asus ROG smartphones.

The Geekbench listing reveals the processor, android software, and RAM of the Asus ROG Phone 8.

The listing revealed the Asus ROG 8 Ultimate running on an octa-core processor. The processor is listed with an unusual core configuration of two efficiency cores running at 2.27GHz clock speed, five performance cores running at 2.96GHz, and one prime core running at 3.19GHz. This processor is said to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 that is set to debut next month.

Furthermore, the gaming smartphone could launch with 16GB RAM and boost the Android 14 operating system, according to the Geekbench listing. 

More importantly, these details can’t be fully trusted as they are totally unofficial. We can confirm the specifications once the smartphone is out, which is expected to happen next year only.
