Asus ROG, one of the top names in the gaming line, could soon release its next lineup of gaming smartphones under the ROG Phone 8 series. three smartphones: Asus ROG Phone 8, Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, and Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate. The Asus ROG Phone 8 series will be powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The company has officially confirmed this. This chipset has been only seen on the Xiaomi 14 series as of now and that too is only available in China currently.

Speaking of the powerful, flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset for a bit. This 4nm chipset can easily clock a peak speed of 3.3GHz. Snapdragon calls this chipset the “Titan of on-device intelligence” as it comes heavily packed with AI features. This chipset is 20% more powerful than its predecessor, as per Qualcomm. If we talk about its AnTuTu scores, it scored 2,139,281 points by crossing the 2 million mark and making the first official record.

Once the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset powers the Asus ROG Phone 8 series, they could be the fastest Android smartphones to exist in the market.

While we await official communication on the ROG Phone 8 series, here are some things that we know so far about the gaming smartphone series. The smartphones could feature a 6.82-inch display. We can even expect to see a triple camera setup on the rear consisting of a 108-megapixel camera, a 13-megapixel camera, and another 8-megapixel lens. On the front, there could be a 32-megapixel selfie shooter as well. Lastly, they could pack a huge 6,000mAh battery.
