Asus has launched a trio of ZenFone 3 smartphones at Computex 2016, called the ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Ultra. The standard variant of the phone comes with 2.5D Gorilla Glass on the front and back and features a 5.5-inch IPS display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, with up to 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It has a 16MP primary camera, with Asus’ TriTech technology that automatically selects between 2nd generation laser auto0fcus, PDAF, and continuous autofocus for faster focusing speeds, claims Asus. The camera also features 4-axis OIS. Prices for the device start at $249 (approx. Rs. 16,700).
The ZenFone 3 Deluxe features a metal unibody design and with hidden antenna lines. It has a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with 6GB of RAM. At the back of the device is a 23MP camera with PixelMaster 3.0 technology, TriTech autofocus, Sony IMX 318 sensor and 4-axis OIS. The phone also features USB Type-C 3.0 and offers 64GB of storage. Prices for the ZenFone 3 Deluxe start at $499 (approx. Rs. 33,600).
Further, the Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra phablet features a large 6.8-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 652 processor with 4GB of RAM. Like the Deluxe, the phone features a 23MP primary camera with TriTech autofocus. It also sports a fingerprint sensor and a 4600mAH battery with Quick Charge 3.0. Asus claims that the ZenFone 3 Ultra sports Hi-Res Audio and is is the first smartphone with virtual 7.1-channel surround sound, with DTS Headphone. Prices for the device start at $479 (approx. Rs. 32,200).
