Are these the specs of the Yu Yuphoria AKA Project Caesar?
We take a look at the rumored specifications of YU’s upcoming Yuphoria smartphone.
After the successful launch of the YU Yureka, Micormax, through its Yu brand, is all set to launch its new smartphone. The smartphone which was earlier referred to as Project Caesar has finally been named Yuphoria. The name was selected with the help of the #YuNameit social campaign.
Rumours suggest that the Yuphoria will be priced to compete with the Redmi 2 and the Moto E 4G. It is also quite clear from a previous teaser that it may be powered by a 64-bit SoC, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage.
It's also speculated that the 64-bit SoC could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410. There are also rumors that the Yuphoria will feature a 13MP rear and a 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone may also have a 5-inch HD display.
The smartphone will run a custom Android OS made by Cyanogen that is expected to be made on top of the Android Lollipop platform. YU’s earlier phone, the Yureka, was a good value for money smartphone and the Yuphoria would do well to emulate it.
