Apple’s ‘Loved’ video claims 99% of iPhone users love the iPhone
Apple’s new marketing campaign features two new advertisements, 'Loved' and 'Hardware & Software', that claim 99% of people using iPhones love it
Apple has released two new advertisements early this morning, titled 'Loved' and 'Hardware & Software', as part of its new marketing campaign. In 'Loved', Apple claims that 99% of iPhone users love their phone. Although there is no statistical data released supporting Apple's claim, the ad seems more like the starting point of Apple's upcoming iPhone 6s, that is scheduled for launch in about two months.
Despite the claim by Apple claiming nearly-absolute customer satisfaction, a survey on customer satisfaction by American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) released last month ranks the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 as the most satisfying phone with a score of 86 on a scale of 100. Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S5, along with Apple's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, are tied at second place with 82. In a survey of all brands in the US cellphone industry, Apple and Samsung are tied at the top with 80. Recently, another report by Kantar WorldPanel showed a decline in Apple's position in the US market.
The other video in Apple's new campaign, 'Hardware & Software', features Apple stating that it has designed the hardware and the software to synchronise well with each other, and as a result either "makes the most" of each other. Both the advertisements conclude with the tagline, "If it's not an iPhone, it's not an iPhone".
