Apple always leaves its fans in anticipation about what it’s going to change with its upcoming launch. With the iPhone 15 series a couple of months behind us, excitement has started to build for the upcoming iPhone 16 series. As usual, Apple is keeping its lips sealed on any new developments regarding the next iPhone series, but the rumours have started to pour in. We hear that the vanilla model, i.e. the iPhone 16 could see a design change with the upcoming series.
Various media outlets have been sharing alleged CAD-based renders of the iPhone 16 series. From what we are seeing, Apple could finally be diverting some of its attention to the base-level models, the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus variant. What’s going to change? The word now is that the camera placement could be slightly tweaked. Currently, we have a diagonal placement of the lenses, but this could be changed into a pill-shaped one, something similar to what we’ve seen on the iPhone X. So, Apple is going back to its old design.

Other than this, it is anticipated that the rest of the design will more or less remain as is. In addition to this, we could also see an addition of a new silicon in the A17 series. But we don’t know anything for sure, it could be possible or we could get something totally different in place.
With the iPhone 16 Pro, on the other hand, the word out is that Apple is going to stick with the current iPhone 15 Pro design. We could get to see an additional button on the right edge. Now this doesn’t need to be a physical button. According to rumours, this could be something like a camera shutter button. Titanium could also be the go-to.
