Is Apple planning a new 4-inch iPhone for 2015?
Apple is rumoured to announce a brand new 4-inch iPhone next year even though it has adopted a larger screen with the iPhone 6.
We believe that a compact device is practical for one hand use and Apple seems to agree. Reports are coming in that Apple is working on a 4-inch iPhone with similar dimensions as iPhone 5/5S/5C. There is no confirmation regarding the design or the launch time-frame, but this news may bring hope to the ones who still bank upon a smartphone that fits easily in one hand.
Earlier this year we saw Apple going big quite literally with the launch of a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. While this move was crucial for Apple to meet the demands of consumers shifting to devices with larger displays, it created agony among the section of consumers who preferred a smaller 4-inch smartphone.
To get back some of its lost customers, a new and improved iPhone with a 4-inch display could be the perfect tactic for Apple. But with the market shifting to smartphones with large displays, you have to wonder if a 4-inch iPhone will find takers.
What do you think? Will we ever see a new 4-inch iPhone? Or are you satisfied with the larger iPhones?
