How to use call recording on iPhones?

iOS 18

Once a user installs the new iOS 18 version, they will see a recording button on the screen while a phone call is on. To start recording the call, the user has to tap on the button and the call recording will start. You can also see the duration of the call that is being recorded.

That is not all, once the call recording is saved, users can also transcribe their calls. The transcription will be saved and users can easily access it in the future. It will support multiple languages, including Spanish (Mexico, Spain, US), English (UK, US, India, Canada, Australia), French, German, Mandarin Chinese (Taiwan, China mainland), Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), and Cantonese (Hong Kong, China mainland).

iOS 18

It will be stored in the Apple Notes app. If you wish to delete it, you can do that too from here. In the notes app, users can also get an AI-generated summary of the call.

For now, the feature will be compatible only with the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max variants, and the future iPhone 16 series. The older variants might also get this feature as it does not require advanced Apple Intelligence capabilities.

We are yet to see this feature on the iOS 18 Beta, so we are not really sure when the feature will really drop.
