Until now, the technology giant has released three SE iPhones, with the first arriving in 2016, the second in 2020, and the third in 2022. If the rumors are true, the iPhone 16 series will gain another variant after the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Not only that, but the tipster claimed that the iPhone 16e would have the same screen size as the iPhone 16 and feature a full-screen design.
In terms of specifications, the iPhone SE 4 aka iPhone 16e may feature a 6.06-inch display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, a significant improvement over the 4.7-inch screen. It may be powered by a toned-down version of the A18 chipset, but it will support Apple Intelligence capabilities. It may get a 3,279mAh battery pack, which is an upgrade from the predecessor’s 2,018 mAh battery.
The iPhone 16e could come with an IP68 rating, Face ID, and 20W charging. According to reports, it will support both Qi2 and MagSafe wireless charging.
The iPhone 16e could get a 48 MP Sony Exmor IMX904 sensor with excellent photographic skills. A 12 MP front-facing camera could be added for selfies. If this is true, it will be another step up from the 7MP sensor on the 3rd generation iPhone SE.
According to reports, the iPhone 16 aka iPhone SE 4 price could range from $499 (approx Rs 42,220) to $549 (approx Rs 46,400).
