Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, successors to last year's iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, go on sale in India today. iPhone 8 prices starts at Rs 64,000, while the iPhone 8 Plus starts at Rs 73,000. The pre-orders for iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were started last week and Reliance Jio has already announced 70 percent buyback offer on these models on purchasing the device from Reliance Digital store or Amazon India. Now Flipkart has also introduced its own exchange offer on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plusm bringing the effective cost down to Rs 41,100.
On iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, Flipkart is offering exchange benefit of Rs 23,000. The maximum discount is applicable only if you trade the iPhone 7 Plus for the latest model. On exchanging iPhone 7 Plus for 64GB iPhone 8, the effective price will drop from Rs 64,000 to Rs 41,100. The cost can be further reduced by availing Rs 10,000 cash back using Citi Credit and World Debit Cards. Indian e-commerce company is also offering extra Rs 3,000 over the regular exchange on Apple iPhone in select cities.
The offer is only valid for those pre-ordering the device till 5.59PM on September 29 and users must note that this offer is only available from seller SuperCom Net on Flipkart. The cashback will be credited on or before December 30. Other deals include extra 5 percent off on Axis Bank Buzz Credit cards and no cost EMI for purchases made via American Express, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Citibank, HDFC Bank, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Bank, RBL Bank, Standard Chartered, SBI, and Yes Bank for a period of up to 12 months.
Amazon is offering an exchange discount of up to Rs 12,100 on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus and it also offers no-cost EMIs via select banks. Reliance Jio is offering a cashback of Rs 10,000 and a buyback guarantee of 70 percent on the return of the device within a year. Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are incremental upgrades with metal and glass design, faster processor, improved cameras, wireless charging support.
