The Apple Watch Series 1 will also launch on October 7, while the AirPods will be available by late October.
The newly-launched Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will launch in India on October 7. The company’s new wearables, the Watch Series 1 and the Series 2, will also be available in the country from that date. However, the new, completely cordless AirPods headphones, will be available in the country from late October.
The company has already revealed that the iPhone 7 will start from Rs. 60,000 in India. However, the price of the other models are not yet known. The Apple Watch Series 1 will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver and Space Grey aluminium cases, and prices will start at Rs. 23,900. The Watch Series 2 will start at Rs. 32,900, and buyers will have an option of aluminium or stainless steel cases. The aluminium cases are available in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver or Space Grey colours, while the stainless steel case will be available in Silver or Space Black. The new ceramic Apple Watch Edition will start at Rs. 1,10,900. The AirPods headphones will be available at Rs. 15,400.
To recall, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are powered by the new quad-core A10 Fusion chip. Further, the devices are also IP67-certified for water- and dust-resistance, and are available in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants. The Apple iPhone 7 features a 4.7-inch, 1334×750-pixel display, while the iPhone 7 Plus sports a 5.5-inch, 1920×1080-pixel display. The iPhone 7 Plus comes with two 12MP rear cameras, in which one camera has a wide angle lens, while the other has a telephoto lens.
