Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max is all set to make its global debut this year. If the leaks are believed to be true, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could get a massive design overhaul and may be rebranded as the iPhone 17 Ultra. Additionally, the device is said to get some massive upgrades in terms of camera, display, build, and AI features.
While Apple has yet to confirm the lineup, features, and other changes, leaks have provided additional information including the key specifications, features, and more. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to launch with the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, and iPhone 17 Pro in September. It is worth noting that the exact release date is not confirmed at the moment.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max may come with a 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR display with 120Hz refresh rate. It may feature Apple silicone’s A19 Pro chipset and an upgraded 12GB RAM to support Apple Intelligence features. As Apple has announced the dates for WWDC 2025, it is more likely that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will run on iOS 19 which also supports new Apple Intelligence features like Smart Siri with context awareness and cross-application functioning. It may also get a smaller Dynamic Island.

The device may also get the vapour cooling chamber which will help in heat management of the device. It may be backed by a 4,685mAh battery.
As for the camera, the device is said to get a 48MP triple camera setup and a 24MP front-facing camera.
The leaks have also hinted that the device may get some major design changes including a Pixel-like camera bar. It may also get a familiar triple camera setup while the LiDAR sensor, mic, and flash towards the right. Apple may also offer an aluminum frame, ditching the titanium frame.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to be priced at Rs 1,44,900, similar to the iPhone 16 Pro Max launch price in India. While the exact details of the pricing remain unknown.
