With the launch just a few days away, here’s everything we know so far about the iPhone 16, including its expected price in India and what to look forward to in this year’s release.
iPhone 16 series: Price in India (Expected)
The base models of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to retain the same pricing as the previous generation, starting at Rs 79,900 and Rs 89,900, respectively. However, the Pro versions will likely see a Rs 10,000 price hike in India, with the iPhone 16 Pro starting at Rs 1,34,900 and the iPhone 16 Pro Max at Rs 1,59,900.

iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus: Expected Specs
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to come equipped with the A18 Bionic chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. The iPhone 16 is likely to sport a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Plus may offer a larger 6.7-inch screen. In terms of battery, the iPhone 16 is anticipated to have a 3,561mAh capacity, and the iPhone 16 Plus might come with a 4,006mAh battery. Both models are expected to feature a dual-rear camera setup, including a 48MP primary wide lens with an f/1.6 aperture and up to 2x zoom, paired with a 12MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 0.5x zoom.

iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max: Expected Specs
The iPhone 16 Pro models are rumoured to come with larger displays, with the iPhone 16 Pro expected to feature a 6.3-inch screen and the Pro Max sporting a 6.9-inch display. The iPhone 16 Pro Max model is expected to have the thinnest bezels in the industry.
Both Pro models are likely to be powered by the A18 Pro chipset. Battery capacities are rumoured to be 3,355mAh for the iPhone 16 Pro and 4,676mAh for the Pro Max. They may also feature a triple-rear camera setup, including a 48MP primary sensor, a 12MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 48MP ultra-wide camera with pixel-binning technology.
Additionally, the Pro models are expected to support Apple’s ProRaw photos, the new JPEG-XL image format, and 3K video recording at 120 fps with Dolby Vision.
