Apple has extended free service repair for the Apple iPhone 12 and the Apple iPhone 12 Pro. Currently, the Cupertino-based company gives each of these iPhones two years of free service from the date they were sold. This has now being extended for 3 years.
In 2021, Apple added a service program for the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro as a "very small percentage" allegedly had some sound problems due to faulty receiver module of earpiece. This service program was meant to fixes this problem. Just so you know, according to the company, the issue was with iPhones made between October 2020 and April 2021.
Apple says that the program now covers affected iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro devices for up to three years after the first retail sale, up from two years before. All countries are covered by the one-year extension.
If your iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro doesn't make or receive sound from the receiver when you make or take a call, you can go to an Apple store or an Apple-approved service provider. Before the service, the machine can be checked to see if your iPhone is eligible for this service.
This program isn’t applicable to the iPhone 12 mini and the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
