Someone has taken the courageous step of actually porting the Android operating system to run on iPhones hardware. As you can see in the following video, Android is running fine on a first generation iPhone:
The source code has been made available for others to participate in this project, and while this only works for first generation iPhones right now, with additional support it can be ported to iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS.
