We’ve already heard about Sony’s new Xperia i1 Honami, which is believed to be a mini version of the recently announced Xperia Z Ultra. Sony’s rumoured smartphone has now reappeared on the web in press images.
The leaked press images show the international version of the smartphone and one customised for NTT Docomo in Japan. The images of the device are in line with the previous round of leaks. Right now, there’s no image of the rear of the device.
The Sony Xperia i1 Honami is rumoured to come with a 5-inch display, Android 4.2 along with a Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB built-in storage, Xperia UI, 4G LTE and 3,000mAh battery. The main highlight of the device could possibly be the large 1/1.6-inch sensor with a 20MP resolution. The camera on the Xperia Honami may feature the BIONZ image processing tech that Sony puts on its Alpha DSLRs.
So far, there’s no word on when the Honami will be released. But considering the back to back leaks, the smartphone could see the light of day sooner than expected.
