The LeEco LEX652 smartphone, believed to be the Le 2S, has been certified by China’s regulatory authority, TENAA. As per the listing, the phone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display and is powered by a deca-core Mediatek Helio X25 SoC, with 3GB of RAM. The rear of the device matches with a panel that was leaked a couple of months ago. The device reportedly sports dual-13MP cameras at the back with a fingerprint sensor located underneath, while at the front is an 8MP camera. The device is equipped with a 3900mAh battery, and comes with Android Marshmallow v6.0 preinstalled.
Earlier reports had suggested that the LeEco Le 2S may sport a Snapdragon 821 SoC, and 8GB of RAM. However, it was highly unlikely for the device to sport such specifications as the device would then be more powerful than the company’s current flagship smartphone, the Le Max2. It is not known when LeEco plans on unveiling the phone, or if it plans to bring it to india. However, if it is launched here, it may sport slightly different specifications than the one to be launched in China. The LeEco Le 2, for example, was powered by a deca-core Helio X20 SoC in the Chinese variant, but was introduced in India with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC.
