Days after Sony made the Xperia Z Ultra official, image of an unannounced Sony device, codenamed Honami, has leaked on the web. It’s being rumoured the leaked Sony device is a smaller version of the Xperia Z Ultra.
Sony is believed to be ramping up its camera phone offering with its Honami, which might feature a large 1/1.6-inch sensor with a 20MP resolution. The camera on the Xperia Honami may feature the BIONZ image processing tech that Sony puts on its Alpha DSLRs.
According to the leaked images, the Honami seems to have same size of the Xperia Z – a 5-inch display. The device runs on Android 4.2 along with a Snapdragon 800 chipset. Other expected features of the Honami include 2 GB RAM, 32 GB built-in storage, Xperia UI, 4G LTE and 3,000mAh battery.
The rear of the Xperia Honami is made of glass, as seen on the Xperia Z and Z Ultra. However, there’s no slots for microSIM and microSD cards on the sides of the device.
