Recently, Oppo launched a new budget smartphone in the Indian market, the Oppo A79 5G. The Chinese brand rolled out the smartphone in two colour options; Mystery Black and Glowing Green. In terms of design, it comes with flat edges and a big rectangular camera module on the back.
I am comparing the Oppo A79 5G with the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, which also falls under the same price segment. Let’s dive in.

The Oppo A79 5G is equipped with a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution. This display comes with a 90Hz refresh rate support.
On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G also features a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display. However, this display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate.

The Oppo A79 5G is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6020 processor, which is paired with 8GB RAM. Further, it also offers an 8GB of expandable RAM. It operates on Android 13-based ColorOS skin.
Whereas, a Snapdragon 695 processor runs the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G. The smartphone offers 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It also runs on Android 13-based OxygenOS skin.
Oppo A79 5G vs OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G: Camera
The Oppo A79 5G is equipped with a dual camera setup on the back, holding a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel Depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
On the other hand, the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G has three camera sensors on the back. It features a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel Macro lens, and a 2-megapixel Depth sensor. For selfies, it is equipped with a 16-megapixel camera.
