Intex Aqua LIONS N1, Intex Aqua A4 and the Intex Aqua S3 are the three smartphones launched by the Intex in collaboration with Airtel. All the smartphones run on Android 7.0 Nougat and come with the Google Play Store.
Airtel and Intex have teamed up to announced three new low-cost 4G smartphones. The devices are launched under Airtel’s ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ initiative which aims to deliver low cost 4G smartphones at an affordable price. The three smartphones are Intex Aqua LIONS N1, Intex Aqua A4 and the Intex Aqua S3. The devices come bundled with a recharge offer of Rs 169 by Airtel, which offers data and voice benefits.
Customers will need to make a down payment while buying the smartphones. For the Intex Aqua LIONS N1, buyers will need to make a down payment of Rs 3,149. Buyers will have to pay Rs 3,499 and Rs 5,879 for the Intex Aqua A4 and the Intex Aqua S3, respectively. A cashback of Rs 1,500 will be refunded to users, but they will need to make 36 continuous monthly recharges of Rs 169 from Airtel. They will get a cash refund of Rs 500 after 18 months and another cashback of Rs 1,000 after another 18 months, rounding off the total cash benefit to Rs 1,500.
Customers can also opt out of the Rs 169 recharge but, post activation of the device, they need to perform recharges worth Rs 3,000 within the first 18 months, to claim the first Rs 500 cashback and again recharges of minimum Rs 3000 over the next 18 months to claim the second refund of Rs 1000.
The Intex Aqua LIONS N1 is priced at Rs 3,149, but it will be available at an effective price of Rs 1,649. It is a dual-SIM smartphone powered by a 1.1 GHz MTK chipset. It features a 4-inch WVGA screen and comes with 2MP Rear and 0.3MP front-facing VGA camera. The device sports 1GB RAM with 8GB expandable storage. It is powered by a 1400mAh battery and comes with VoLTE support along with connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Moving on to the Intex Aqua A4, the smartphone is priced at Rs 4,999 but after cashback, its effective comes down to Rs 1,999. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM coupled with 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. The smartphone comes with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. It packs a 1750mAh battery and supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Finally, the Intex Aqua S3 is priced at Rs 6,649 and will be available at an effective price of Rs 4,379. It features a 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor. It sports 2GB RAM coupled with 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 64GB. The smartphone comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera with flash. It is backed by a 2450 mAh battery.
