iQOO has launched the much-awaited smartphone, the iQOO 12 in the Chinese market. Along with that, the brand has also launched the iQOO 12 Pro. Speaking of the India launch, the Chinese brand previously confirmed that the iQOO 12 will make it to India on December 12. Both smartphones have been launched with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. However, this time, apart from focusing on performance, the brand has focused on looks and photography as well. This year, the brand has done some work on the design and came up with something new. The iQOO’s flagship smartphones had good performance but didn’t make much noise in looks. However, this year that has changed. The iQOO 12 comes with two colour options; Alpha and Legend. On the back, the smartphone features a squarish camera module with round edges. It is packed with a metal frame with flat sides. Although the display has not seen many changes in terms of design, it comes flat this year as well.

The iQOO 12 has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with up to 144Hz variable refresh rate support. Further, the display comes with 1.5K resolution and HDR10+. However, there are no words on the display brightness, as it was rumoured previously to feature a 3000 nits display. We will confirm this once the smartphone launches in India.
Now this is where it gets interesting. The iQOO 12 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, one of the most powerful processors yet. Further, the smartphone features a Q1 gaming chipset to enhance the gaming experience. The iQOO 12 offers up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The iQOO 12 has a triple camera setup carrying a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel Ultrawide lens, and a 64-megapixel Telephoto sensor. This Telephoto sensor offers up to 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. On the front, you will get a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
A 5000mAh battery has been integrated into the iQOO 12. Along with that, the smartphone offers up to 120-watt fast charging support.
