OnePlus is launching the all-new OnePlus 12 in China on December 5. The smartphone is said to launch with a lot of exciting upgrades but a similar design. While we are just a day away from the OnePlus 12’s China launch, the OnePlus 12R is clearing the global certifications one by one. The OnePlus 12R will be a toned-down version of the OnePlus 12.
Recently, the OnePlus 12R has appeared on the CQC and IMDA certification websites, revealing some key specifications of the smartphone. Along with that, this also hints at the imminent launch of the OnePlus 12R. Let’s check out five expected details of the OnePlus 12R.

According to a report by Gizmochina, the OnePlus 12R is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. It will most likely support up to 120Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, it is also expected to have 3000 nits of peak brightness.
Last year’s flagship processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is said to power the OnePlus 12R. This processor is also equipped in high-end smartphones such as the OnePlus 11, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, iQOO 11, and more. Furthermore, an unnamed Adreno GPU is also rumoured to come with the OnePlus 12R.
For photography, the OnePlus 12R could use a triple camera setup. This includes two 50-megapixel cameras with OIS and EIS support and an 8-megapixel sensor with EIS support. For selfies, it might feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

The OnePlus 12R is expected to be packed with a 5500mAh battery. It could launch with a support of up to 100-watt fast charging. Its predecessor, the OnePlus 11R features a 5000mAh battery.
MySmartPrice reported that the OnePlus 12R will make it to India in January. The report states that it will launch in India on January 23.
However, all the specifications and details mentioned above are based on speculations and leaks. OnePlus has yet to confirm the existence of the device referred to as the OnePlus 12.
