The Reliance Jio Lyf Flame 4 smartphone has been launched in India, at Rs. 3,999. The company is selling its Lyf branded phones via both offline and online avenues and the Flame 4 will be made available offline in a black colour variant.
The new Lyf Flame 4 is powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz SoC and a Mali 400 MP2 GPU, which is clocked at 500MHz. While the specifications point towards a MediaTek SoC, the company hasn't revealed the exact model number. The device features a 4-inch display, bearing a resolution of 800x480p. The display also has Asahi Dragontrail Glass protection. There is only 512GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded using a microSD card. The Lyf Flame 4 supports upto 32GB of external storage.
At the back, there is a 2MP primary camera on the Lyf Flame 4, which is aided by single LED flash. The rear camera supports HDR, panorama, features face detection and a has a smile shutter as well. The rear camera is capable of shooting 720p video at 30fps. On the front, the device features a VGA camera.
On the connectivity front, the Lyf Flame 4 has a dual sim slot, which supports 4G SIM cards on both slots. However, only one SIM will work on 4G at a time. The device is packing a 1400mAh battery and the company claims, 4.5 hours of talktime on 4G or upto 3.5 hours of HD video playback.
