Vivo launched its first foldable smartphone namely Vivo X Fold in April last year. According to reports, Vivo is planning to launch the successor Vivo X Fold2 very soon. Some of the specifications of the smartphone have leaked on the internet which suggests Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the smartphone and more.

Vivo X Fold2 Display

According to the GSMArena, the Vivo X Fold2 could launch with a 6.53-inch E6 AMOLED display and after unfolding it might boast an 8.03-inch E6 AMOLED display. Both the displays will reportedly support 120Hz refresh rate but the cover display will come with a 1080p resolution and the internal display will feature a resolution of 2160 x 1916 pixels.

The display of the Vivo X Fold2 will give up to 1800 nits on peak brightness, Vivo claimed. 

Vivo X Fold2 performance

The Vivo foldable smartphone is rumoured to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, except that there is no information about the storage. It is rumoured that the latest chipset will feature a CPU that is 35% faster and a GPU that is 25% better, in addition to being equipped for Wi-Fi 7. The smartphone will also include the vivo V2 ISP.

Vivo X Fold2 Battery

Vivo X Fold 2 could be backed by a 4800mAh battery with fast charging support of 120-watt for wired and 50-watt for wireless charging.

Along with that Vivo also claimed that the new Vivo Foldable smartphone will be 10% lighter than its predecessor.
