World’s thinnest laptop, HP Spectre, coming to India on June 21

The HP Spectre, dubbed the world's slimmest laptop, will be launched in India on June 21. The Spectre is only 10.4mm in thickness, has a piston hinge design, and features a 13.3-inch Full HD display. The laptop offers up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage, and is also available with Intel Core i5 or i7 processor options. It sports a hybrid battery cell, which the company claims can offer up to 9.5 hours of battery life. The laptop houses three USB-C connectors, two of which support Thunderbolt. The HP Spectre also features Bang & Olufsen stereo speakers with HP Audio Boost technology. It uses Intel’s hyperbaric cooling technology. Prices for HP Spectre start at $1,169, which is approximately Rs. 78,500.

Earlier this month, HP unveiled its new range of Elitebook laptops in India, including the Elitebook Folio. The HP Elitebook Folio is the thinnest laptop in its segment, at 8.4mm. The device features a 12.5-inch touchscreen display, with screen resolution of up to 3840×2160 pixels. It offers up to Intel Core m7 processors, with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of SSD storage. Prices for the device start at Rs. 1,28,000.
