The M2 Macbook Pro may just be ‘worth the wait!’
According to leaks, the upcoming M2 Macbook Pro will be “worth the wait”
The laptop is rumoured to offer better battery life along with enhanced speeds
There are no indications regarding when the laptop will be launched
At this moment in time, the prices of the Macbook Pro are the lowest that they have ever been. While many consumers are clamouring to buy the premium laptop, there is a certain rumour doing the rounds that might compel you to take a moment before doing so. LeaksApplePro, a known tipster when it comes to Apple products, recently said that the 14-inch and 16-inch Macbook Pro variants will come with significant performance boosts, making the laptops “worth the wait”.
LeaksApplePro said “Hearing the new 14/16-inch MBP’s performance will be “worth the wait”. Better speeds, better battery life, less heat… sounds like a pretty nice product update for me. No design or I/O changes though.”
What features will the M2 Macbook Pro bring?
As of now, there are no specific rumours of the features the M2 Macbook Pro will be equipped with. It is believed that the laptop will bring improvements to the overall battery life as well as the speeds. The laptop is also rumoured to generate less heat when compared to its predecessors, which can make this a good product for those who work long hours or run heavy operations on the Macbook Pros.
The improvements to the battery performance did come as a surprise to the leakster, as the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with the M2 processor did not offer any significant battery improvements. At this point, the battery life of the 14-inch MacBook Pro stands at 17 hours while the battery life of the 16-inch variant stands at 21 hours. These can be compared with many Windows laptops that are offered at lower price points, making many users question the premium label on the Macbook Pro.
The upcoming laptops will not feature any design changes. The brand had already brought a design overhaul in 2021 and it's too soon to expect another design-related change.
