Realme Book Prime could reportedly arrive in India in a couple of months: Here are its expected specs

HIGHLIGHTS

Realme Book Prime’s Indian arrival is expected to be in two months.

In China, its so-called original, i.e., the Realme Book Enhanced Edition is priced at CNY 4,699 (~₹55,200).

Realme Book Prime could ship with an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, 2K display, VC cooling solution, and Windows 11 in a lighter chassis compared to the Realme Book Slim.

Realme Book Slim (review) launched in India back in August of 2021 and was mostly well-received for the price to performance ratio it was offering. And now, its successor, allegedly christened Realme Book Prime is said to be on its way to the country within two months. A recent report by 91Mobiles in partnership with tipster Mukul Sharma suggests the titular laptop is a rebranded Realme Book Enhanced Edition that had debuted in China earlier this year. And that it could land in India as early as April. If that’s the case, we can make a fair guesstimate of what to expect from this so-called Realme Book Prime.

Here, have a look at our crystal ball:

Realme Book Prime Expected Specs and Features

Realme Book Prime is likely to flaunt a 14-inch IPS panel with 2K resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, rated to deliver 400 nits peak brightness, and a 100% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut.

Inside, it could have Windows 11 software overlaid on top of Intel’s 11th gen Core i5-11320H (with 4.5GHz max clock speed) processor roomed with 12GB of LPDDR4x dual-channel RAM and up to 512GB PCIe SSD storage.

A  54WHr battery could be its power source with a claimed 12 hours' worth of juice between charges. Speaking of charge, you could be getting a 65W Super Fast adapter in the box.

Other goodies in the mix could be WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A socket, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, Harmon Kardon tuned stereo speakers and an HD webcam.

All of these come at a sticker price of CNY 4,699 (around ₹55,200) in the company’s home market. Indian pricing and proper availability details aren’t out at the moment.
