Nokia PureBook X14 has officially launched in India by Flipkart and marks the company’s foray into the laptop segment in India. The PureBook X14 was teased by Flipkart for quite some time and now the e-commerce giant has collaborated with Nokia for manufacturing and distribution of the laptop under the Nokia license.

The PureBook X14 is a thin and light notebook that is powered by the 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor and weighs 1.1 kilograms. There were reportedly as many as nine laptops spotted receiving the BIS certification so it seems like the company will be introducing other models in the future.

“Launching the Nokia brand into this new product category is a testament to our successful collaboration with Flipkart. We are excited to offer consumers in India a Nokia branded laptop which brings innovation to address a gap in the market, as well as the style, performance and reliability that the Nokia brand is known for,” said Vipul Mehrotra, Vice President at Nokia Brand Partnerships.

Nokia PureBook X14 price and availability

Nokia PureBook X14 is priced at Rs 59,990 and will be available to pre-order from December 18 on Flipkart. The laptop is available in a single SKU with a matte black finish and the press release states that the price tag of Rs 59,990 is a special launch price. There is no info on the duration of the special launch price or the price of the laptop after the special price period ends. Currently, the listing on Flipkart shows the laptop priced at Rs 90,000 but it is likely a placeholder and should be updated ahead of pre-bookings. The company has not revealed the exact date of the sale yet.
