Microsoft has unveiled its latest laptop series: the Microsoft Surface Copilot+ PCs. These PCs come equipped with generative AI capabilities and are powered by the latest and most powerful Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors. The laptops have been announced at a starting price of Rs 1,13,900. Now, let’s check their specifications out.
Microsoft Surface Copilot+ PCs specifications
These laptops are quite promising and powerful. This new lineup includes two models, the Surface 7 and the Surface Pro 11 and both of them have models powered by Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors. They feature a neural processing unit (NPU) capable of handling over 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS).
On the display front, the Surface Pro 11 comes with a 13-inch IPS LCD as well as the OLED display in the top-end variant. On the other hand, the Surface 7 has a new HDR touchscreen display too.
The Surface Pro 11 has an ultra-wide, quad-HD front-facing camera, and a 10MP rear-facing camera that supports 4K video. Since these are Copilot+ PCs, you get a dedicated Copilot key as well on both of these laptops for AI features. Both the laptops run on Windows 11.
For enhanced productivity and security, these laptops come with Microsoft Pluton Security and Windows Hello Enhanced Sign-in enabled by default. Since these laptops are AI-enabled, you can use features such as the Cocreator to generate images or edit photos with text prompts. You can even use the Slim Pen on the Surface Pro 11 or touch on the Surface 7 Laptop for this. You can access this feature in the Paint app.
Price and availability
Coming to their prices, the Microsoft Surface 7 comes at a starting price of Rs 1,13,900. Whereas, the Microsoft Surface Pro 11 starts at Rs 1,16,999. You get two colour options with these laptops: Platinum and Black.
The new Microsoft Surface Copilot+ PCs are now available for pre-orders in India. If you wish to purchase it, you can place orders through Amazon, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, and select multi-brand stores.
