Honor has officially revealed the logo of its upcoming gaming laptop series. The Honor Hunter series is the official name of the gaming laptop series and the logo of the upcoming series was revealed on Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The image is followed by a caption in Chinese which translates to “Hunter is coming” hinting at the upcoming launch of the laptop.
According to Gizmochina, it has been revealed that the laptop series will come with great heat dissipation capabilities. It has also been revealed that the laptop will be “thinner than expected” hinting at a slim profile of the laptop. Earlier leaks of the laptop hint at an AMD CPU (possibly the Ryzen 4000-series processors) and dedicated GPU. However, specifics about the laptop still remain a mystery and along with a release date.
In the meantime, Redmi is all set to launch its gaming laptop on August 14. The Redmi G will mark Redmi’s foray into the gaming laptop category. Xiaomi already has a couple of notebooks under its Mi Notebook and RedmiBook series and gaming laptops under the Mi Gaming series. The Redmi G gaming laptop is scheduled to launch in China on August 14 at 2 PM (11:30 AM IST). This is where we will learn about the design, specifications and capabilities of the gaming laptop.
Speaking of gaming laptops in India, Asus recently launched its ROG Strix Scar and Strix G gaming laptops with a starting price of Rs 79,990. Asus ROG Strix Scar and Strix G use liquid metal to cool the CPU. Asus ROG Strix G offers 240Hz display option and Strix Scar goes up to 300Hz.
