Amazon India has teased the arrival of a new Honor notebook via a dedicated microsite. The teaser doesn’t specify the exact name or laptop mode but the specifications detailed below make it amply clear that it alludes to the MagicBook X 14 launch in India.
The MagicBook X 14 is a slim and light laptop that was first introduced in China last year. Back then it was powered by a 10th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, but Honor could upgrade the spec to 11th or 12th gen in India.

To start with the MagicBook X 14 has an aluminium metal body, is 15.9 mm thick and weighs 138 grams. It includes a 14-inch (16:9) anti-glare and IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution, TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Certification and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification. Honor claims an 800:1 contrast ratio and 45 per cent NTSC coverage for the display.
The laptop further features a 180-degree hinge, backlit keyboard, and a 2-in-1 fingerprint sensor for convenient unlocking. The webcam pops up from the keyboard.
According to the Amazon listing, this upcoming notebook integrates a 56 Wh battery that’s pegged to last for up to 13.2 hours. 65-watt fast charging is supported and the bundled adaptor will allegedly refill 59 per cent of the tank in 30 minutes.
As mentioned above, the global variants introduced last year were powered by 10th Gen Core i5-10210U/i3-10110U paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512 PCIe SSD. As for connectivity ports, the HONOR MagicBook X 14 includes a USB-C, USB3.0 Gen1, USB2.0, HDMI, 3.5mm headphone and microphone two-in-one ports.

At the launch, the base variant of the MagicBook X 14 with 8GB RAM and 16GB storage started at CNY 3299 or roughly Rs 38,000 in China. That price doesn’t mean much a year down the line but we can expect the India price to be aggressive nonetheless.
