Gigabyte announced the launch of their new line of gaming laptops known as the Gigabyte G5 series. The laptops are equipped with Intel 12th Gen CPU in India and will be available in three models- the G5 KE with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, the G5 ME with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, and the G5 GE with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050. With its latest line of gaming laptops, Gigabyte is aiming at the mid-range gaming laptops market.
Gigabyte claims that the new laptops will offer a seamless gaming experience owing to the Nvidia RTX 30 series GPUs which are installed in them. The laptops are light and thin, weighing under 1.9kg, making them easy to carry around and will not only handle gaming but also productivity workloads. The price of the Gigabyte G5 laptops start at INR 77,887.
Thanks to the 12th Gen Intel i5-12500H CPU with 12 cores, 16 threads, and a maximum clock rate of 4.5GHz, the G5 series promises great performance. In addition to this, the laptops come with 16 GB DDR4 3200Mhz memory. Gigabyte has even added MUX switch technology to the G5 KE laptop to offer higher frame rates and better gaming performance. This will allow users to bypass the integrated graphics and directly connect the display to the discrete GPU in just a click.
The G5 series laptops offer a 15.6” FHD 1920×1080 IPS-level Anti-glare LCD display and a 144Hz refresh rate allowing users to enjoy an immersive gaming experience. It comes with an 86% screen-to-body ratio and ultra-thin bezels. Gigabyte has also included the exclusive WINDFORCE cooling technology which will allow the G5 series laptops to be consistent in their performance during high-load gaming sessions or multimedia processing and will allow the laptop to achieve the maximum CPU and GPU potential.
In addition to this, the G5 laptops come with plenty of SSD slots and support high-speed PCle Gen4 which reduces the waiting time for reading and copying any large files.
With the launch of its new laptops, Gigabyte is also offering a free 1-Year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal version. The Gigabyte G5 series laptops are available on Flipkart and offline retail stores all over India.
