Dell has revived its Latitude E series of business laptops with Intel’s latest Core i5 and i7 processors that feature Turbo Boost technology, in three laptop models: the Latitude E6410, Latitude E6510, and the rugged Latitude E6410 ATG, which has a design meeting MIL-STD 810G standards for shock, vibration, altitude, humidity, and temperature extremes. All three models offer Core i5 and i7 options, and come fitted with DDR3 RAM (up to a maximum of 8GB and with a memory frequency choice of 1066MHz or 1333MHz) and hard-drives that go up to 500GB.

All three models also offer a discrete graphics option of Nvidia NVS 3100M 512MB DDR3, or integrated Intel HD graphics. The ATG however doesn’t feature discrete graphics. The Latitude E6410 has a 14.1-inch screen (1280×800 and 1440×900 resolution options), the Latitude E6510 a 15.6-inch screen (1366×768, 1600×900, and 1920×1080 resolution options), and the Latitude E6410 ATG a 14.1-inch screen (1280×800 and 1440×900 resolution options). All three systems have a thin profile of 1-inch thickness, and come with fitted with 6-cell (60Wh) Lithium Ion high capacity battery with ExpressCharge, but there are plenty of other battery options available, from 4-cell (37Wh) to 12-cell (88Wh) extended battery slice.

As enterprise laptops, they have energy optimisation features (like Energy Smart power management settings, inverted motherboard for improved thermals, ENERGY STAR and EPEAT certifications, and energy-efficient LED displays and backlighting) as well as Dell’s optional Intelligent Management Solutions.
