Dell launches four new Vostro 3000 laptops in India, with Sandy Bridge processors
Dell has launched the latest models of its Vostro 3000 Series of business laptops in India. The new laptops in the series are four models in four sizes, 13 (Vostro 3350), 14 (Vostro 3450), 15 (Vostro 3550), and 17-inch (Vostro 3750). They are powered by Intel’s second generation Sandy Bridge Core processors, which feature high-quality integrated graphics that is switchable with dedicated GPU solutions, as well as value added features such as Intel Insider and Wi-Di. The Dell Vostro 3000 Series of laptops are promising an astonishing battery life of up to 12 hours, something unheard of, and even surpassing brands like Apple’s MacBook Pro range.

Other features include a customizable dashboard button interface, voice enhancing SRS Premium Voice Pro software, Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security, as well as Roxio Creator Starter. Some models also feature integrated finger print readers.
Specs can be found on the Dell India site, and the top end configuration of the 17-inch Vostro 3750, which starts at Rs. 40,490, are up to an Intel CoreTM i7 (2630QM), up to 6GB4 DDR3 1333Mhz RAM, a 1600×900 resolution monitor, and the choice of a NVIDIA GeForce GT525M dedicated video card onboard. Pricing for the 15-inch Vostro 3550 and 14-inch Vostro 3450 are not listed at the moment, but reports peg then starting from Rs. 37,490, and 35,990, respectively. Pricing of the 13-inch 3350 is listed as starting from Rs. 38,990.
