Dell has refreshed its consumer laptop portfolio in India with the launch of new Alienware X series, G15, and XPS laptops. The Alienware X15 and X17 slim gaming laptops and the refreshed XPS 15 and 17 employ the latest 11th generation Intel H series CPUs and Nvidia RTX 30 series GPUs. The G15 will additionally be available with AMD Ryzen CPU options.

Dell’s new Alienware X series and refreshed XPS laptops will be available for purchase on Dell’s online store starting from September 3 onwards. The G15 laptops will be available offline starting from September 23.
All of these new entrants will be available offline across Dell Exclusive Stores (DES), large format retail and multi-brand outlets.

Dell’s new Alienware X-series laptops for 2021 come in 15-inch and 17-inch display sizes and succeed the m15 and m17 from last year. These are the thinnest Alienware laptops to date even with RTX 3000 series graphics housed inside (up to RTX 3080).
The 0.63-inch thick Alienware X15 gets up to Intel Core i9 – H series and the 0.83-inch thick Alienware X17 gets up to Core i9K CPU.
Thermals are managed by Alienware Cryo-Tech cooling technology which introduces Element 31 as thermal interface material, HyperEfficient Voltage Regulation for extended gaming sessions, and a Quad Fan system with AI smarts for efficient heat dissipation.
The X series further refines Alienware Legend 2.0 design that debuted with m15 gaming laptops. Other highlights include Cherry Mx keyboard with 3.5mm low profile, Windows Hello IR camera, 240W power adapter, and packaging made from 92% recycled or renewable materials.
Dell also upgraded its XPS 15 and XPS 17 laptops for creators and professionals with Intel’s 11th generation H series processors and Nvidia RTX 30 series GPUs. The XPS 15 will be available with up to Core i9H processors and up to RTX 3050 Ti graphics. The XPS 17 will have options up to i9K and RTX 3060 graphics.
The design remains similar to what we had with the 2020 refresh. Dell also boasts of some impressive credentials for the display that gets up to 500 nits bright. These include 4K Ultra HD+ resolution, 100% Adobe RGB and 94% DCIP 3 colour gamut coverage, and Dolby Vision certified and EyeSafe Technology for vivid pictures.
Dell has upgraded its G15 laptops that are meant to be versatile machines for gamers and creators. The new G15 laptops flaunt a “gaming-inspired” design available in three colour options – Dark Shadow Grey, Specter Green with speckles and Phantom Grey with Speckles. Consumers will have the choice between 11th Gen Intel TGL-H or AMD Ryzen processors.
The series offers RTX 30 series graphics with options up to 115W and Dynamic Boost. Dell employs an improved thermal design with copper pipes and 4 vents. Other highlights include the Alienware Command Center for hardware and software control, orange coloured backlit keyboard, 360-degree audio, and a 15.6-inch 120Hz display with Full HD resolution that gets 250 nits bright.
