At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, Acer unveiled a slew of innovative products, featuring the latest and greatest hardware specifications. This year’s lineup includes new gaming laptops, graphics cards, AI-integrated PCs, networking devices, SpatialLabs 3D hardware and mainstream laptops built with sustainability in mind. Acer Predator Helios Gaming Laptops

The Predator Helios series has received a significant upgrade with the introduction of the Predator Helios Neo 18 and Neo 16. These gaming laptops feature Intel Core 14th Gen processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs. Boasting displays made using Mini LED panels, the laptops claim to ensure bright visuals. The inclusion of MagKey 3.0 swappable mechanical switches and Wi-Fi 7 compatibility enhances the gaming experience. These laptops are designed to meet the demands of intense gaming sessions, offering the power of AI graphics (Read NVIDIA DLSS) and robust thermal solutions.

Acer Nitro 17 Gaming Laptops

The new Nitro 17 gaming laptop is a blend of high performance and versatility, powered by Intel Core 14th Gen processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs. It features a 17-inch QHD display with a 165 Hz refresh rate, perfect for immersive gaming. The laptop is equipped with innovative AI-assisted communication features such as Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 for filtering unwanted ambient noise; and NitroSense software with its dedicated key, making it an ideal choice for gamers seeking performance and affordability. Predator BiFrost and Nitro Series Radeon 7000 Graphics Cards

Acer’s expansion into the graphics card market is marked by the launch of the Predator BiFrost and Nitro Series. These graphics cards are based on the AMD Radeon 7000 GPUs and Acer is bringing out four cards which are the RX 7600 XT, 7700 XT OC, 7800 XT and 7800 XT OC. The Predator BiFrost series is aimed at enthusiasts seeking top-tier performance and it’s starting with the 7800 XT OC, while the Nitro series caters to gamers looking for a balance between performance and price. Both series promise to enhance gaming experiences with their advanced cooling technologies and robust build quality.

Swift Go and Swift X AI Laptops

The Swift Go AI series represents Acer’s foray into AI-powered computing. These laptops are equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors which now have an integrated NPU (Neural Processing Unit) for AI workloads. The AI integration in these PCs enhances user experience, making them ideal for professionals and everyday users alike. While there might not be that many applications for the NPU at the moment, that is about to change in the coming months. The Swift Go AI series stands out for its sleek design and portability.

SpatialLabs Stereoscopic 3D Portfolio

Acer’s SpatialLabs Stereoscopic 3D portfolio has been expanded with the introduction of a new laptop and gaming monitor. If you haven’t heard about SpatialLabs hardware then these devices offer a unique 3D experience without the need for special glasses. At CES, several laptops and monitors featuring the SpatialLabs technology were unveiled. Aspire Vero 16 Laptops

However, the key differentiator with Vero is that they are carbon-neutral and they reflect Acer’s commitment to environmentally friendly technology, without compromising on performance. The Aspire Vero 16 is like the other laptops featuring Intel Core Ultra processors are built with support for Microsoft Copilot with a dedicated key.

Acer and Qualcomm’s 5G Wi-Fi 7 Routers

In a strategic collaboration with Qualcomm, Acer has launched two new routers, including the world’s first 5G Wi-Fi 7 CPE – Predator Connect X7 5G CPE and the other is the Predator Connect T7 Wi-Fi 7 Mesh Router which incorporates gaming features. These routers are designed to provide ultra-fast internet speeds and reliable connectivity, catering to the needs of gamers and power users. The T7 has a cumulative throughput of 11,000 Mbps which can handle a lot of clients simultaneously.
