Asus India has launched the Space Edition (SE) of Asus Zenbook 14X OLED. This special edition laptop dons a unique look with a secondary nameplate-like display on the lid. It’s a 3.5-inch OLED panel that is “full customizable”. However, that’s not the only OLED screen here. The main display is one. It is 2.8K in resolution and offers a 90Hz refresh rate too. Under the hood, the new Zenbook is carrying an Intel Core i9-12900H processor, Intel Iris Xe GPU, up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB SSD storage.
Here’s the complete repertoire:
Take the laptop out of the box, and your eyes are likely to fall on the so-called ZenVision OLED screen which is just 3.5-inches in size. Lift the lid and inside, you will find a 14-inch 2.8K OLED 90Hz touchscreen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
There is an HD webcam up top and a “keyboard deck that resembles a space capsule cockpit, with multiple easter eggs”. Here you will see a Numpad (on the touchpad) and a fingerprint reader.
The Zenbook 14X OLED SE boots into Windows 11. The processing power is endowed by up to 12th gen Intel Core i9-12900H CPU. The graphics are handled by Intel Iris Xe GPU. You get 16/32GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB/1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The internal space is also occupied by a 63WHr battery backed by a 100W brick. It is USB-C and supports fast charging.
