Asus’s next-gen ROG STRIX laptop spotted with the Intel Core i9-13980HX Raptor Lake-HX CPU
Intel is going to launch the new Intel Core i9-13980HX Flagship Raptor Lake-HX CPU.
The chip appeared on the Geekbench 5 listing of the Asus Next-Gen ROG STRIX laptop.
This has not been confirmed by Asus yet.
Intel’s Core i9-13980HX CPU is claimed to be the fasted laptop chip (when it launches), and as a result, there’s been a lot of hype around the product. Interestingly, the Geekbench 5 listing of Asus’s Next-Gen ROG STRIX Laptop shows that the device will rock the upcoming Intel chip.
Intel Core i9-13980HX Raptor Lake-HX CPU specifications
The Intel Core i9-13980HX Raptor Lake-HX CPU will feature 16 E-Cores based on the Gracemont architecture and eight P-Cores based on the Raptor Cove. The full configuration has 32 threads and 24 cores. The CPU will offer 36 MB of L3 cache along with a maximum turbo frequency of up to 5.6 GHz. For context, this is 600 MHz faster than the Core i9-12950HX/Core i9-12900HX CPUs.
Asus’s Next-Gen ROG STRIX Laptop specifications
The Asus’s Next-Gen ROG STRIX Laptop is said to feature 64 GB of DDR5 memory. The CPU scored 20826 points in multi-core tests and 1970 points in single-core.
