Asus launches ROG GX700, world’s first liquid cooled laptop in India
The laptop is priced at Rs. 4,12,990 and comes with a detachable Hydro Overclocking System cooling module
Asus’ Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand has launched the ROG GX700, world’s first liquid cooled laptop, in India. Priced at Rs. 4,12,990, the laptop is only available for purchase through request via the Asus website. The laptop comes with a detachable Hydro Overclocking System cooling module and a specially made ROG themes briefcase that helps the users carry the laptop and the cooling system around. The laptop is powered by a sixth generation Intel Core i7 processor with up to 64GB of RAM.
The company claims that the system not only helps to keep the laptop cool, but also allows the CPU to be overclocked by up to 48%, and the 64GB RAM to be overclocked by up to 43%. The laptop features a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics card and is also equipped with a traditional cooling system so that it can be used without the liquid cooling dock. The laptop also sports a 17.3-inch 4K display and a illuminated chiclet keyboard. In addition, it has three USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt, one HDMI port, and one mini display port.
Besides the GX700, Asus also unveiled the ROG Strix GL502 gaming laptop. It is priced at Rs. 1,27,990 and features an Intel Core i7 processor with 8GB of onboard memory. It also sports a 15.6-inch 4K display and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX970M graphics card.
